I always wanted to be in a field where I could be helping people on a daily basis. I looked into many different healing modalities and made sure I had a solid foundation in Western Science. When I looked into acupuncture and Oriental medicine, I knew that was “it” for me. I could think of nothing better than coaxing the body into healing itself naturally, and with no risk of scary side effects. I came to acupuncture, blindly believing in its power to heal people’s very serious health conditions. Now that I’ve been in practice for several years, I get to see this profound healing EVERY single day, and I think I have chosen the most satisfying occupation that exists.
As an acupuncturist, I offer people healing when they may have lost hope. This ancient medicine meets a need that cannot be met by conventional medicine and I am privileged to help this community with so many acute and chronic ailments.
Often my patients come to have acupuncture as a last ditch effort because “nothing else has helped.” When they finally go for it, they are astounded at the value this medicine has and how easily it can be integrated into their conventional health care plan. The merging of Eastern and Western medicine is the future of healing. Oriental Medicine often heightens the results of what Western medical treatments can achieve. Such is the case with cancer care, infertility, diabetes, post surgical recovery and so many other conditions commonly treated by a primary care doctor.
While each patient is unique, my goal is to restore health naturally, so you are feeling vibrant, energetic and well.
