for your body, mind, and spirit. Strategically situated near the end of your work week and
out of the way of your weekend plans, this class is the perfect environment for your
peace of mind and rest for your mind/body. And, Spirit likes it, too:) The poses are about
comfort, not work. The breath settles in naturally. The sound waves emitted softly from

Sound Bath Journey w/Dianna Lucas and Brennan England
Indigo is sponsoring this Sound Journey inside the beautiful acoustics of Epiphany UCC Sanctuary. Follow the green ticket link above and once there scroll to the bottom of that page to purchase tickets.
After two historical churches were lost this year due to fires very close together, I thought, how can we support the beautiful historical churches of St. Louis right now before they are mostly empty? How can we see the spaces as alternative yet community needed spaces. Let’s support the stewards of our local sanctuaries so that they may continue to care for these unique and historical buildings for their art and architectural value.
About this event:
Since Covid, Indigo hasn’t hosted any events or classes and we were looking for a larger space to host another Sound event as the one we had several years ago was very well attended and enjoyed.
Indigo has been a supporter of Dianna Lucas’s Women Weekends retreats for years. We have led workshops together, and are dear friends. Dianna is the sole yoga teacher of the Grand Basin Yoga series in Forest Park. She is always looking for Winter venues to host her events. What better than the acoustically charged space of a local sanctuary to host a Sound Journey. Dianna will bring healing sound bowls of many sizes and tones, and gongs. She brings years of experience as a Wellness leader into this space guiding our healing Sound Journey.
Brennan England, LMT has been a massage therapist with Indigo for over 10 years. He is a well known local business owner and community builder. He supports and stands for the rights of African American business owners especially within the cannabis business world. He is also a renown didgeridoo player who often includes the science of sound in his massage therapy sessions. It is a delight to have the opportunity to hear him play for this meditative event. Brennan brings years of experience as a healing massage therapist, musician, breath work practitioner, and a beautiful soul.
This promises to be a wonderful meditative and immersive experience with two amazing practitioners! Feel free to bring a blanket, pillow, a journal, and dress comfortably. We will be providing some blankets and bolsters. Everyone will be encouraged to privately write about your experience in your journal immediately following the journey. Journey will last a little over an hour. Please note that this is for every Body. All are welcomed. No experience with Sound Bath is needed. There is an accessible entrance to the right of the main doors up the path. We will connect with a bit of breathwork meditation, and we will be encouraged to rest, relax and journey.
This is the perfect preparation for our upcoming Winter Solstice.
Also useful as a sole centering practice before all of the Holiday togetherness.
Epiphany UCC, our host, is a social justice group fighting for many causes, including, but not limited to, people with disabilities, raising the minimum wage, the incarcerated, the LGBTQ+ community, the local lead levels and other local environmental concerns. They even monitor our local air quality. Thanks for that! All from their historical building in Benton Park. They are an open and affirming and non-binary UCC. They have a commercial kitchen, events, and a few concerts a year. Please visit epiphanyucc.org for more information or if you are interested in getting involved.
Thank you for your support. See you at the Sound Bath Journey Event!

Qoya Feminine Movement

We reconnect with and remember that essence through a mix of movement practices, yoga, dance, and community building/sharing.
Qoya is about how it FEELS, not how it looks.
You know you’re doing it “right” if it feels good and true in your body. This workshop embraces all body types and is for anyone identifying as female. No previous dance or fitness experience is expected or necessary. If you can dance in your kitchen (or in your car), you can do Qoya.
Bring yourself, your yoga mat, and some water to sip on.
Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in.
Class takes place in Studio Blue, our third floor yoga studio.

Vini-Yoga All Levels: Yoga Nidra Full Moon practice accompanied by Tyler with SIT STL
Vini-yoga: Breathwork is emphasized combined with movement into and out of a pose(which works muscles) and stay(holding the pose while breathing which works and releases connective tissues that bind). Vini-yoga is for change and transformation. It is easily accessible to all levels of practitioners.
Hatha Yoga: Hat=Sun Ha=Moon. This is the most common yoga practice. Hatha yoga involves opposites, for example, “grounding down through the feet while extending the spine tall…? It involves mastery of utilizing the breath to slowly stretch bodies to benefit mobility and reduce pain.
Yin Yoga: Yin yoga has longer periods of “stay” in the poses, allowing for fuller experience and understanding of what is occurring in the body and mind during a pose. It is nurturing and self-explorative.
Restorative Yoga: Restorative uses a variety of props for the purpose of comfort. It requires little movement, but encourages rest and rejuvenation through long periods of reclining and relaxation.
Yoga Nidra: Nidra is the “awake sleep” celebration of the full moon. It is considered “female energy” for purposes of nurture and recovery. Highly meditative, practices often involve guided imagery and energetic awareness. Students will learn to clear their minds and allow their bodies to totally relax-in this state, body/mind/spirit can heal and restore.First Class $10 * Drop-in Rate $14 * 5 class card $60
