Join Lindsay Dickes for a beautiful blend of intelligently and deliberately sequenced Yin and Restorative yoga postures designed to support deep relaxation, release tension in the body, and contribute to a self-care practice. Expect a slow and quiet pace with postures held for longer periods of time and effectively paired with breath techniques and guided meditation. The Yin approach uses long holds with passive postures to release tension, increase flexibility, and support energetic flow in the deep connective tissues of the body. The Restorative approach cultivates stillness and calming of the mind and nervous system through passive postures supported by blankets, bolsters and blocks. Woven together in this class, Yin and Restorative postures invite you to settle into sensation and leave you with a deep feeling of calm, grounding and rejuvenation for your week ahead.
